Hi all -

Just wondering if the downey dunk works on Addy, since her hair is such a different texture. My PM Addy's hair is pretty frizzy--even more than it should be--and I wanted to see if anyone knew whether downey would help Addy's hair or not?

I have used the Downey dunk on Addy. It helps a lot but I would suggest putting her hair in a ponytail as it dries to avoid it expanding too much.

There are wig shampoos and conditioners out there specifically for Kenekalon fibers (which the AG doll's hair is made of)that will soften and refresh the hair do a search online you'll see. Also using a wire-wig brush or wire pick will work too. (Never use a plastic comb it will make doll hair frizzy)

Hmmm... I have no idea, but I would like to know, also. Wouldn't that kind of damage her hair? Hmmm... Well, sorry I'm of no help !

My Addy's hair has never been combed. I've been afraid to fool with it.

I did a long time ago. I used human hair conditioner and then did a Downey Dunk. It helped undo the knots at the end of her hair and that's about it. Has anybody tried steaming her hair? I steamed it a bit over my humidifier and it made the tangles worse!

Plus always remember to start to brush the hair (wig) from the bottom and work your way up!

I did the downey dunk on my Addy and it did soften the hair enough to help some with the tangles. But her hair was already too far gone so I ended up rewigging her. I didn't steam her hair at all.
